New England Patriots managed to avoid a third straight loss and maintain control of the AFC East for another week. In week 15, Patriots will face Bills who loss 12 straight overall to the Patriots and trying to avoid clinching their fifth straight losing season Sunday. Patriots is facing some distractions lately, their defense is struggling which resulted in a back-to-back defeats. However, Patriots is still one game ahead over the Dolphins and Jets after defeating Carolina 20-10. Meanwhile, Bills won two of their last three games and they look to win against Patriots to improved their record. Bills will rely to their defense as they lead the NFL in that department, however, Buffalo ranks last in the league against the run, allowing 170.5 yards per game. Who will win? Fresno State, who is led by a top rusher in the nation, will be looking for a better outcome when it face Wyoming for its second straight New Mexico Bowl title in Albuquerque on Saturday. Fresno Sate started the season roughly, losing three of four but rebounded to go 7-1 over their final eight games. They ended the season with a 53-52 overtime win at Illinois and for second consecutive season, earning a trip to Albuquerque.

Fresno State is led by Ryan Mathews, a junior running back who helped Fresno rank 14th in the nation. Mathews also topped the Football Bowl Subdivision in rushing with 151.3 per game. Fresno State is on its 10th bowl appearance in the last 11 season and look to leave another victory at Albuquerque. Can Fresno win another New Mexico Bowl title?

Meanwhile, Wyoming earned a postseason berth despite a difficult season. They managed to win two of their last three following a three-game losing streak, beating Colorado State 17-16 in its finale back in Nov. 27. Wyoming will try to contain Mathews in order to have a big chances of winning but the problem is Wyoming, like Fresno is struggling in their defense. Wyoming ranked 91st against the rush while Fresno ranked 111th, so it would be expected that the match could be a high-scoring game. In their last match in November 22, 1997, where they played in WAC, Fresno State won 24-7 against Wyoming.
